New Release - 2016-05-06 Audis Ray Massey

 

On Wednesday, April 6, 2016, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a 17 year old juvenile had overdosed on some kind of illicit drug. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that the drug was LSD which is sometimes referred to as acid. During the course of the next few weeks, 18th West Judicial Drug Task Force Investigators Mike May and Jeremy Lea along with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted several searches and made several arrest as a result of the investigation. A warrant was eventually obtained for Audis Ray Massey, 33, of Mt. Ida. Mr. Massey was arrested on May 5, 2016 and transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I (LSD) with the Purpose to Deliver. The charge is a Class B Felony. Others arrested during the course of the investigation were Eric Ringer, 46, of Danville. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule VI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Courtney McMillan was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule VI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charges are also pending on others involved in the case. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
