MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE PRESS RELEASE The investigation into the death of a bobcat at the Caddo Hills School has been concluded and submitted to the prosecuting attorneys office. After several interviews and several days of investigation, the case will be closed with no charges filed. The investigation revealed that the individuals did not mutilate or torture the animal in any way. The animal was thought to be deceased after being shot off of campus. It was then taken onto school property where it was discovered to be alive. At that point, they tried to kill the bobcat with what they had at their disposal. There is no evidence of any criminal intent on the individuals involved in the case.
